ACS Healthcare Policy Chat
Taft 12F, 265 College Street
Tuesday, February 25th, 7:30-9PM
ACS will provide snacks, BYOB
YLS student experts will provide an overview of key issues in health policy/law, including the ACA, insurance exchanges, Medicaid expansion, Medicare, Health IT, and more, and answer all your questions. Attendees will also have ample time to talk to each other one-on-one and in small groups, making new friends with shared interests in progressive health policy.
This event is the first in a new series of informal issue-based events this spring which will feature YLSers with deep knowledge of key policy issues sharing some of their wisdom and answering all your questions, and also offering ample time to casually mingle with others who share an interest in the policy area. It's designed for those who may not have a strong background in the area, from 1Ls who haven't ever taken a class or worked in the area, to 3Ls who are realizing they shouldn't go out into the working world knowing nothing about the topic. Those with more experience are of course welcome to attend, and will hopefully benefit from a chance to shape eager minds and meet other like-minded individuals.
