C. Rechtschaffen ’84 Appointed to California Public Utilities Commission
The Honorable Edmund G. "Jerry" Brown ’64, Governor of California, has appointed Clifford Rechtschaffen ’84 to a six-year term on the California Public Utilities Commission. Rechtschaffen has been a senior advisor to the Governor on climate, energy and environmental matters since 2011. Previously he was a special assistant California attorney general from 2007 to 2010 and a deputy attorney general from 1985 to 1993.
