David Martin ’75, Shaper of Immigration Policy, to Retire
After 36 years as a faculty member at UVA Law, Professor David Martin, the Warner-Booker Distinguished Professor of International Law, is retiring. Martin has also held several key political appointments that influenced U.S. immigration and refugee policy, including his most recent appointment as principal deputy general counsel of the Department of Homeland Security.
