Hugh B. Price ’66 to Discuss "This African-American Life"

On Tuesday, May 23, 2017, Hugh B. Price ’66 will discuss his new memoir, This African-American Life, with PBS News journalist Duarte Geraldino at the New-York Historical Society. The event is part of the New-York Historical Society's Frederick Douglass Council Program.

Price will also discuss his experiences as an activist and president of the National Urban League from 1994 to 2003. Price's conversation with Geraldino, a special correspondent for PBS NewsHour and a TED 2017 Resident, will begin at 6 p.m. on May 23. Following the program there will be a book signing and reception. The New-York Historical Society will host the conversation at 170 Central Park West at Richard Gilder Way. There is no cost to attend the event.
