John Bellinger visits YLS

John B. Bellinger III, partner in the national security and public international law practices at Arnold & Porter, LLP, visited Yale Law School on April 11 and 12. While on campus, Bellinger delivered remarks at a lunchtime talk on the use of force and international law issues raised by ISIS. He also participated in an informal breakfast discussion with students on national security and international law careers both in government and the private sector.

Bellinger draws on a wealth of experience in the field international law. Prior to joining Arnold & Porter, he served as Legal Adviser to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice from 2005 until 2009. Previously, he was senior associate counsel to the President and Legal Adviser to the National Security Council from 2001 to 2005.
