Meg Houlihan ’15 Joins Tonkon Torp's Litigation Department

Tonkon Torp LLP announces the hiring of Megan "Meg" Houlihan ’15 as an associate in the Litigation Department of their Portland, Oregon office.

Prior to joining Tonkon Torp, Meg served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Morgan Christen at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit, and for the Honorable Michael Simon at the U.S. District Court, District of Oregon. During both of her one-year clerkships, she worked on a wide variety of civil and criminal cases involving a number of areas of law, including environmental, intellectual property, employment, civil rights, and tribal law.

Meg received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude from Gonzaga University in 2010, and her Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School in 2015. While at Yale, she was a teaching fellow, a member of the Trial Advocacy Team, Submissions Editor at the Yale Law & Policy Review, and a participant in Yale's Environmental Protection Clinic. As a law student, Meg worked as a summer associate at Munger, Tolles & Olson, LLP in Los Angeles, and as an extern with the King County Prosecutor's Office, in Seattle.
