Verrill Dana Attorneys Named 2016 Super Lawyers

The 2016 edition of New England Super Lawyers and Rising Stars© has recognized a total of 51 Verrill Dana attorneys for excellence in their individual areas of practice. Two Yale Law School graduates are among that number.

Frank J. Silvestri, Jr. ’74 and Suzanne Meeker ’81 have both been named to the Super Lawyers list in 2016. Silvestri is a partner in the Westport, CT office of Verrill Dana where his practice areas include business and commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, ERISA litigation, and health care litigation. Meeker is a partner in the Portland, ME office and was recognized this year for her work in employee benefits. She also focuses her practice on executive compensation, higher education, and health care.

Only the top 5% of attorneys in each New England state are included in the Super Lawyers guide, and only the top 2.5% in each state are selected as Rising Stars, which identifies the best attorneys 40 years and under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or fewer. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
