Please join Yale Law Republicans for a discussion on progressive prosecution with Cully Stimson, Deputy Director of the Edwin Meese III Center at The Heritage Foundation. Cully will discuss his new book, Rogue Prosecutors, which examines and explains the origins, beliefs, funding, and consequences of the progressive prosecutor movement. 

Charles "Cully" Stimson is a Senior Legal Fellow & Manager of the National Security Law Program at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC where he focuses on national security, homeland security, crime control and other legal issues. As a three-time Chief of Staff at Heritage, he currently serves as Senior Counselor to the President of The Heritage Foundation, Kevin Roberts. In 2022, he retired as a Captain in the United States Navy JAG Corps after 30 years of service. He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense from 2006-2007, an Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia (2002-2005), and was a Vice President at Marsh McLennan where he ran the Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice for the Washington D.C. Office. He serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board for the U.S. Soccer Foundation — the major charitable giving arm of the U.S. Soccer Federation.
