Christopher Morten, JD, PhD is a lawyer who currently teaches at New York University School of Law(link is external)1 as the Clinical Teaching Fellow and Supervising Attorney in NYU’s Technology Law and Policy Clinic(link is external)2. He is a Visiting Fellow at GHJP and a Fellow at NYU’s Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy(link is external)3. Chris’s clinical work, research, and writing focus on access to knowledge, with particular emphasis on health justice. Much of his work seeks to expand access to medicines and access to information about medicines. His recent and current projects include representation of The PrEP4All Collaboration(link is external)4 in its efforts to expand access to HIV and COVID-19 drugs and successful litigation with Yale MFIA Clinic on behalf of Peter Lurie(link is external)5 and Charles Seife(link is external)6 to expand the public’s legal right to obtain information on clinical trials of drugs and medical devices via the ClinicalTrial.gov website(link is external)7.
