Christopher Morten, JD, PhD is a lawyer who currently teaches at New York University School of Law as the Clinical Teaching Fellow and Supervising Attorney in NYU’s Technology Law and Policy Clinic. He is a Visiting Fellow at GHJP and a Fellow at NYU’s Engelberg Center on Innovation Law & Policy. Chris’s clinical work, research, and writing focus on access to knowledge, with particular emphasis on health justice. Much of his work seeks to expand access to medicines and access to information about medicines. His recent and current projects include representation of The PrEP4All Collaboration in its efforts to expand access to HIV and COVID-19 drugs and successful litigation with Yale MFIA Clinic on behalf of Peter Lurie and Charles Seife to expand the public’s legal right to obtain information on clinical trials of drugs and medical devices via the ClinicalTrial.gov website.
