Please know that you are not alone as you deal with problems affecting your mental health or emotional well-being. Yale Law School takes a broad approach to wellness and we hope the resources below can help you on your journey.

Connect to Care Survey 

C2C is an anonymous and confidential recommendation engine where students can input preferences and receive tailored mental health & wellness resources at YLS/Yale. It only takes about 10 minutes to complete and students may use it multiple times regardless of where they are in their mental health journey.   

Yale Health Center 

 Yale Health promotes the health and well-being of every member of the Yale Community so that each individual can achieve their highest goals and aspirations.  

 

Yale Wellness Resources 

YLS Peer Advocate Program

Peer Advocates are nominated by peers at YLS to serve as support and guidance for the entire student body. To be connected to a Peer Advocate, contact the Office of Student Affairs.

Yale Well

Yale Well is a comprehensive survey of resources created by the Office of the Vice President for Student Life. It includes opportunities for physical activity, spiritual and religious practice, participation in student organizations, peer-to-peer counseling and local opportunities for engagement. 

Good Life Center

The Good Life Center offers programming to nourish students’ sense of flourishing while at Yale.  

Health Education Resources

Health education resources for time management, stress reduction, sleep, exercise, nutrition, or quitting smoking are available through Yale Health.

Chaplain's Office

The Chaplain’s Office is committed to helping students of all (and no) faiths deepen their knowledge, grow respect and mutual understanding across faith and culture and participate in discussions of religious, ethical and spiritual topics.

Yale Support Resources 

Student Accessibility Services

The Student Accessibility Services Office can work with students in accessing the support they need while at YLS. Accommodations may include note-taking assistance, adjustments to exam time/timing/location and addressing physical accessibility and transportation challenges. 

YLS Career Development Office

Counselors and CDO Student Advisors are available to discuss students’ concerns and help chart and navigate their career paths.    

YLS Financial Aid Office

The financial aid team encourage students to share financial challenges or changes that occur throughout their enrollment. YLS’s small class size allows for confidential one-on-one counseling to every current student who requests it. 

Poorvu Center for Teaching and Learning

The Poorvu Center provides support to students through the Graduate Writing Lab, one-on-one consultations for writing and public speaking, and more. 

Sexual Harassment and Assault Response & Education (SHARE) Center

SHARE is available to members of the Yale community who are dealing with sexual misconduct of any kind. 

Office of LGBTQ+ Resources

The Office of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Resources can provide advice and support on a number of issues faced by LGBTQ and gender nonconforming members of the Yale Community.
