The Registrar's Office will be closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day January 20; no classes will meet.

Add/drop period closes January 21 at 4:30 p.m. 

To have access to add/drop, you must have completed the Term Data Update.  

Term Data Update and add/drop may be accessed through the Yale Hub.

To Request Transcripts

Current and former students may request official transcripts online through Parchment.

There is usually a 24- to 48-hour turnaround time. There is no per-transcript fee. If expedited delivery service is requested, there will be a charge for each address to which a transcript must be sent.

Transcripts for students who attended Yale Law School prior to 1996 may take an additional 24- to 48-hour processing time.

To Verify Enrollment and Degree Verifications

Letters verifying enrollment in Yale Law School, and the date degrees were awarded, may be obtained by completing a request form from the Registrar’s Office. The completed form may be emailed to registrar.law@yale.edu, faxed to (203) 432-7069, or mailed to the Office of the Registrar, Yale Law School, P.O. Box 208215, New Haven, CT 06520-8215.

Requests from third-parties may use this form. We do not accept requests by telephone. All requests must include the student's full name at the time of enrollment, date of birth, year of graduation (if known), daytime telephone number, the address where the letter should be mailed, and the signature of the requester. There is usually a 24- to 48-hour turn-around time.
