About Events at the Liman Center

Liman Panel Discussions, held throughout the academic year, invite experts to explore subjects such as deaths in custody, the contemporary challenges of people in detention, and the effects of imprisonment on the mind.

The annual Liman Public Interest Colloquium brings together advocates, scholars, and students from across the country for two to three days of discussion. Colloquia have addressed many topics including low-wage workers and workfare, the challenges of becoming and staying a public interest lawyer, and the role of mass media in public interest advocacy.

The Quinnipiac-Yale Dispute Resolution Workshop series examines mediation and conflict management topics rooted in timely and relevant social issues.
