Partnerships

The Access to Knowledge Global Academy is a collaborative initiative founded in 2008 to promote academic scholarship, research, and policy analysis on access to knowledge for development around the world. The Global Academy consists of a network of scholars at institutions in the U.S., Brazil, Egypt, South Africa, China, India and Ethiopia.

The ISP has benefited from a close working partnership with the Access to Knowledge for Development Center at The American University in Cairo, led by Professor Nagla Rizk. In 2012, the ISP was pleased to host as a visiting fellow another prominent member of the Global Academy, Professor Carlos Affonso Pereira de Souza of ITS in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
