Clinic Students Testify on Confinement
On Monday March 27, students from the Lowenstein International Human Rights Clinic at Yale Law School travelled to the State Capitol in Hartford, Connecticut, to testify in favor of HB 7302, “An Act Concerning Isolated Confinement and Correctional Staff Training and Wellness.”
ACLU Director to Speak on Defending Liberty
David Cole, the National Legal Director of the American Civil Liberties Union, will speak on April 3 at 12:10 pm in Room 127. His lecture, “We’ll See You in Court—Defending Liberty in the Age of Trump,” will discuss the approaches of the ACLU during the current administration. Two YLS Students Chosen for FASPE Program
Nina R. W. Cohen ’18 and Ama Ruth Francis ’18 are among 12 law students chosen by the Fellowships at Auschwitz for the Study of Professional Ethics (FASPE) to participate in a two-week program in Germany and Poland.
