Connecticut Students for a DREAM (C4D)

Students in the Workers and Immigrants Rights Advocacy Clinic represent Connecticut Students for a DREAM (C4D), a statewide organization of immigrant youth and their family and allies, in a campaign to make state financial aid available without regard to immigration status. On behalf of C4D, students researched and drafted a rulemaking petition that was filed with the Connecticut Board of Regents of Higher Education, Office of Higher Education of Connecticut, and the Board of Trustees for the University of Connecticut on March 6, 2014. The petition asks the agencies to expand access for undocumented students to institutional aid across the public education system in Connecticut.
