June Virtual Interview Program (VIP)
The June Virtual Interview Program (June VIP) is Yale Law School’s annual recruiting event for employers to interview rising 2Ls for summer positions. The program serves as the primary way for rising 2Ls secure summer internships with larger law firms.

Winter Interview Program (WIP)
The Winter Interview Program (WIP) is Yale Law School’s annual spring recruiting event for public interest and private sector employers to interview primarily 1Ls, but also 2Ls and 3Ls for summer and permanent positions.

September Virtual Interview Program (formerly PIIP)
The September Virtual Interview Program is Yale Law School’s recruiting event mainly for public sector employers to interview primarily 2Ls for summer internship opportunities, but also 3Ls for permanent positions. This is an exciting recruitment opportunity for students passionate about pursuing a career in the public sector.

Equal Justice Works Annual Conference and Career Fair
YLS participates as a member-school in the annual Equal Justice Works Conference and Career Fair in Washington, D.C., which is a gathering of public interest and government employers from across the nation. Approximately 150 employers conduct prescheduled and informational interviews with law students from across the country during this event that usually occurs in October. CDO subsidizes student registration fees for this event and reimburses student travel up to $250 (please see the reimbursement form).

Public Interest Legal Career Fair
YLS co-sponsors the Public Interest Legal Career Fair at New York University School of Law providing students the opportunity to interview with employers for internships and permanent jobs, as well as to talk with employers at information tables. In past years, representatives from more than 200 organizations and over 2,300 law students have attended this February Fair. CDO subsidizes student registration fees for this event and reimburses student travel up to the current cost of a Metro-North roundtrip ticket to New York City from New Haven, CT. Overseas-Trained LL.M. Student Interview Program
YLS, in cooperation with the law schools at Columbia, Harvard, Stanford, University of Chicago, University of Michigan, and University of Virginia hosts an Annual Overseas-Trained LL.M. Student Interview Program. Employers from around the world are invited to come to the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in New York in late January to interview students from the seven law schools for foreign associates and/or six to eighteen month internship positions. In the early fall, CDO hosts an information session for LL.M. students interested in this program.
