is a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School, where she also obtained her LL.M. in 2025. Previously, she earned her BA in law from the University of Cambridge, where she was a Senior Scholar in Law. Since 2019, she has worked as a legal counsel at the Central Bank of Malaysia, where she advises on matters relating to central banking law and financial regulatory law.
Stephanie's research lies at the intersection of legal philosophy, cognitive science and epistemology, with a particular focus on methodological questions in general jurisprudence. Her dissertation examines the justificatory status of intuition in general jurisprudence from the perspective of philosophical naturalism. More broadly, her work also draws on insights from philosophy of science. Alongside her primary academic interest, Stephanie also writes on Malaysian constitutional theory.
